Testimonials
It is a true honour and a privilege when caring for women, birthing people and their families, so we always want to take the time to thank them for choosing us to be part of their journey.
We love hearing feedback from families in our care so here are testimonials from our clients…
Alisha - second time mother
“I honestly don’t know how I would have navigated my pregnancy without Tash.
I was in my late thirties, doing this all over again after first becoming a mum as a teenager. I already had high blood pressure, I was being told my baby was small, and because of a previous traumatic birth and a real fear of hospitals, I would often freeze during appointments. I was terrified that something would happen to me or my baby, and I didn’t always feel able to ask the questions I needed to ask.
Tash took my hand and guided me through every step in the most compassionate and empowering way. She helped me understand what healthcare professionals were telling me, supported me to prepare the questions I needed to ask, and helped me navigate difficult conversations with both practitioners and my family.
More than anything, Tash gave me permission to make my own informed choices. Culturally, I had grown up believing that you simply listened to healthcare professionals and did as you were told, so understanding that I was allowed to ask questions, pause, consider my options and make decisions about my own care was completely new ground for me.
Tash never told me what to do. She made sure I had the information, confidence and language to advocate for myself. Her support helped me move through pregnancy and birth feeling far less alone, frightened and powerless.
I am not sure I will ever be able to fully thank her for what she did for me and my family. Her knowledge, care and advocacy made an immeasurable difference to my experience, and I will always be grateful.”
